Chris Hausman
District 12
Hausman, a food-grade corn and soybean producer from Pesotum, represents District 12, which includes the counties of Champaign, Vermilion, Douglas, and Edgar. He served on the Champaign County Farm Bureau board of directors from 1994-2000 and served as county President during the past three years. He also serves on the operating board of Illini FS.
The 48-year-old Hausman is a member of the Illinois Corn Growers Association, Illinois Soybean Association, and serves on the Farm.doc website Advisory Committee. He has a bachelor’s degree in ag education from the University of Illinois.
Hausman and his wife, Evonne, have three children and attend St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Pesotum.
