JOSH ST. PETERS
Broadcast Technology Manager
Josh St. Peters joined Illinois Farm Bureau as Broadcast Technology Manager in February of 2006.
In this capacity, Josh is an integral part of the organization’s broadcast communications, both on the RFD Illinois Radio Network and on the association’s website. He is responsible for news and feature reporting heard on nearly 70 radio stations each day, as well as web content viewed and listened to by thousands of online visitors each day.
In addition to his reporting duties, Josh is heard on the network’s daily talk programming as a host and commentator. He also serves as a public speaker, representing Illinois Farm Bureau at functions all across the state.
Prior to joining Illinois Farm Bureau, he held reporting positions in local and statewide radio along with working for the largest agricultural radio network in the country. Josh has traveled all across the United States and overseas to tell the story of farmers and their rural neighbors.
His award-winning work has been recognized by the National Association of Farm Broadcasters, the Society for Professional Journalists and the Chicago Headline Club.
Josh was raised in Bond County and received a degree in Agriculture Communications from the University of Illinois, with an emphasis in broadcast journalism.
He and his wife, Maggie live on a small farm in rural McLean County, near the community of Arrowsmith.
